Spicy Turkey Egg White Meal Prep
Serves 5 at $3.13 Per Serving
3lbs Ground Unsalted 98% Lean Turkey Breast
1 Tbsp Avocado Oil
1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
1 Tbsp Onion Powder
1 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
10 Egg Whites
3 Fresh Jalapenos
Shredded Cheese to Taste
The first thing that I do is to cook up my egg whites two at a time (2 per bowl). To do that, I spray nonstick avocado oil into a small nonstick skillet and fry them up until done.
Next, bring a large skillet to med-high heat and add the avocado oil. Once the oil begins to shimmer, add the minced garlic. Once the garlic is fragrant, go ahead and add the turkey, onion powder, and smoked paprika to the pan. Brown.
Plate the egg whites and turkey in 5 bowls evenly. Now, the jalapenos. You can straight up sear them in a pan and deal with the burning eyes and throat, or you can roast them on a grill. Either way, you're going to want some char on these as it adds incredible flavor.
Once the jalapenos are done, top off each bowl evenly with pepper and however much cheese you'd like. Now you have a smoky bowl of yes to start your day!
